Cox HealthPlans Community Outreach
Cox HealthPlans participates in a Jeans Day program each week to benefit local charities and schools. Here are some of the charities and schools we have helped over the past year.
Victory Mission
Victory Mission is a place of help and hope to individuals and families in need. Since 1976, they have been reaching out to people who are hungry, homeless, hurting and struggling to meet their family's basic needs in Springfield and the Ozarks. Their ministry is primarily sustained by the generous support of individuals, businesses, churches and community organizations. They are a certified member of the national Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM), and are committed to the highest standards of financial and institutional integrity.

Ozark Greenways
Formed in 1991, OG is a 501c3 non-profit group of private citizens in greater Springfield, Missouri, working to preserve the Ozarks' natural heritage for public use and enjoyment by developing a greenway trail network. Once each trail section is built in Greene County, it becomes part of the Springfield-Greene County Park Department's wonderful park system. OG also helps promote Public Works' growing on-street bike route system.

That's more than 11,000 children who have started toward a happier childhood. Many had never been to a dentist, and most required around three return visits just to correct their dental problems. "The Tooth Truck" provides treatment for approximately 16 children per clinic day.
