AAAHC Re-Accreditation Announcement

Cox HealthPlans (CHP) has completed its re-accreditation process with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and has received another full 3-year accredited term.

CHP first achieved AAAHC accreditation in 2020, establishing CHP as a health plan that meets nationally recognized standards for high quality care and patient safety and demonstrating commitment to ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.

AAAHC Health Plan Accreditation is widely recognized for its rigorous standards and collaborative survey process. AAAHC is also recognized by the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) as an accreditor of Qualified Health Plans, which are health insurance policies that meet protections and requirements under the Affordable Care Act.
