The holiday season is near and one way to spread the holiday cheer is to volunteer. Make this holiday season about people. Below are a few of the many great ways to give back to our community or find a local charity that is close to your heart.
Ways to Volunteer:
Salvation Army – Bell Ringers
Ronald McDonald House - assisting with serving meals
Developmental Center of the Ozarks – assisting with gift wrapping
Harmony House – meal preparation and serving
Ways to Donate:
Adopt a family - KTTS radio host a Christmas Crusade and you can adopt a family in need
Boys & Girls Club – you can shop for gifts or simply donate money
Ozarks Food Harvest – donate groceries
Marine Toys for Tots Foundation – bringing toys to less fortunate children in our community
Arc of the Ozarks – donations go towards housing, transportation, hygiene, etc.
