How to Find an In-Network Provider

Within our service area, we have a list of qualified providers that you can use for your health care needs. If you need help locating a provider in our coverage area you can call our Member Service Department at (417)269-2900 or toll free at (800)205-7665. You can also call the CoxHealth Physician Referral line at (417)269-4636 for help finding a doctor that is accepting new patients.

To find an in-network physician using our provider directory, follow the steps below:

Go to the Cox HealthPlans website home screen.

Scroll down and click “Start Search” button in the “Find a Provider” box.

To access your specific directory, scroll to the bottom of the page and download the PDF directory that matches your plan.

Once in the PDF, you can scroll through the document, use the tabs to navigate, or click “Ctrl”+”F” to search for names or facilities.

Always verify with the provider and the facility that their contracts with Cox HealthPlans are still valid as the directories are subject to change.

If searching for a provider outside of our 26-county area, use the First Health provider directory linked at the bottom of our provider directory page. You can also contact them at 1(800)226-5116, choose option 2, then 1, then 1 to speak with a representative.
