How to Obtain an Interpreter

Cox HealthPlans, and CoxHealth, uses InDemand interpreting services that provide over 200 languages at no charge to you. All interpreters are medically certified to translate for all your healthcare needs.

Through Cox HealthPlans

When calling in to the Member Services department, please let the representative know that you would like to use an interpreter for your call and what language you prefer. The Member Services representative will connect an interpreter through a 3-way call to assist with your needs.

Through your Provider’s Office

When scheduling an appointment with your Provider, or upon arrival to your appointment, let the office know that you would like an interpreter for your appointment and what language you prefer. The provider’s office will connect you with an interpreter via telephone or video call to assist with your needs.
